Review: We LOVED the Jersey Joint! Not only were they super easy to work with and nailed everything we were looking for in a band, but many of our guests came up to us saying they were the best wedding band they’d ever seen. We got so many compliments about how awesome our wedding was after the reception and much of that has to do with how amazing the Jersey Joint was. My father-in-law said to me that he’s been to many weddings with a lot of the guests that attended our wedding and was shocked to see that many of them who normally would sit at their table all night were either dancing on the dance floor or on the back of the dance floor intently watching the band. To quote many of the guests “Your reception was like a concert!” This is exactly what we wanted from our wedding band. We didn’t just want a band that plays through a top chart setlist for people to dance to, we truly wanted a band that entertained and treated the reception like their own concert. My wife and I love live music and it’s one of the big things that draws us together, so it was important to us that we had this type of vibe. We also love Phish and the Grateful Dead so to have some of that sprinkled throughout the set without alienating non jam lovers was important to us and very well done by the band.
As amazing as the actual reception was, I do want to highlight how easy it was working with Gerry and his team. They were super professional however Gerry was able to keep it light and fun. One thing that was amazing was his willingness to work with me and my father-in-law on playing a couple of tunes with the band for my wife. This was really important for us and Gerry made it so easy to coordinate and it went really really well! I also loved how the Jersey Joint took care of all of the music for our entire day. We had a piano and guitar at our ceremony (which was beautiful), they then had a jazz pianist play our cocktail hour (so many of my buddies were running up to me stoked that he was throwing in some Dead into the jazz set, little did they know what was coming with the full band :)), and lastly they took care of announcements, dinner music and dance music at the reception.
I could go on and on about how great the Jersey Joint was, but to wrap up, if you're looking for top notch musicians who can stretch out and have fun on stage, who truly understand the wedding process, and are really easy to work with then BOOK THIS BAND

Review: The Jersey Joint MADE our wedding! We did not have a coordinator for our wedding which was no problem at all - Gerry met with us before the wedding to go over everything from the music to walking down the aisle to everything in between. We knew the moment we met Gerry we wanted him to be a part of our wedding - it also helped that we have seen the Jersey Joint live before and they crush. Gerry is such a positive, happy and down right GOOD person and his band reflects that. They all had a smile on their faces the entire night and really brought the music. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, even our moms were on the dance floor when we requested they play our favorite Phish songs. They have a huge variety of music choices and they sound INCREDIBLE! At some points of the wedding I felt like I was at a concert - which after not seeing live music for quite a while, was the best feeling in the world. People still come up to me 6 months later talking about how good the band was and that they hope to attend another wedding with the Jersey Joint playing. If you’re unsure about which band you want for your wedding, I advise you to look no further….and also please invite me to your wedding :) Gerry, thank you so much for everything - I still think about the Jersey Joint playing at our wedding daily.

Review: Gerry and the Jersey Joint were honestly one of the best vendors we chose for our wedding! Music was a top priority for us because both my husband and I are musicians (like, pursued it for a living!) and we wanted an awesome band. Jersey Joint truly kills it, everyone was on the dance floor and it's clear they love what they do. People raved about them as a wedding band, my sister used them as well and now a friend is using them for their wedding this May, highly recommend!

Review: Long story short, our band stopped playing together during COVID and we were a month away from our big day completely band-less! A friend highly recommended the Jersey Joint and we are so glad he did! Gerry and I spoke on the phone several times and he made us feel super confident that this was going to the be the best party of our lives. He paid special attention to my "do not play" music list and also was willing to jump in and help us run our ceremony smoothly which was not even in the contract! The number 1 compliment we received about our wedding was the outstanding music- Jersey Joint had everyone on their feet AND played not one, but TWO Rage against the machine songs for us! UNREAL! Highly recommend them! The female front absolutely KILLS IT, especially when you request Alanis!

Review: I knew I wanted Jersey Joint at my wedding before I was even engaged! My parents said it best - “they played every decade wonderfully, as if they were the original artists themselves.” If you like having a good time, and music is an important part of your big day, look no further. My husband says he “only likes Phish when JJ plays it” so guess I need to hire them for more parties :)

Review: Jersey Joint made our wedding day absolutely perfect! The dance floor was packed the entire night and our guests continue to gush over how amazing the music was. The band was skilled at reading the crowd and keeping the party going all night long. They did a wonderful job balancing music across all genres, from Bruno Mars to Phish and the Dead. And they let my sister join them to sing two songs, which was really special for us! The band did a wonderful job with our ceremony and cocktail hour music as well.
Gerry was so easy to work with. From our first conversation, we felt completely confident that we selected the right band. He understood what we were looking for and made excellent recommendations every step of the way. He was quick to respond to our texts and emails, which gave us so much peace of mind during the stressful process of planning a wedding.
We cannot say enough good things about Jersey Joint. Hiring them was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. This is an extraordinarily talented group of people that will ensure your wedding night is the best party you’ve ever been to!

Review: In short, working with Jersey Joint was an absolute dream! They catered every single sound for our wedding day to meet our wishes including learning some favorite songs like Foreigner "Feels like the First Time" to Florence and the Machine's "You Got the Love". They made all the pre-wedding coordinating simple and easy, and had an extensive selection of songs that made it easy to choose a master set list that rocked out the entire night. They brought the BEST energy and completely wowed us with their instrumentals and vocals. They set the whole tone for the wedding celebration and delivered on every account. All of our wedding guests were blown away by their talent (as were we!) and we look forward to upcoming life events where we can work with these awesome rockstars again!"

Review: The energy that the The Jersey Joint emits is pure electric, and that’s exactly what my wife and I got on our wedding day. Thank you, Jersey Joint, for making our day as special as we could’ve imagined it, especially during such hard times. Due to Covid-19 my wife and I were left with no choice but to reschedule and eventually change our venue. Communication with Gerry was excellent. When it came to rescheduling, which was scary, Gerry made it possible to arrange a date that fit in our calendar. The band even learned songs Ahu and I love, which we thought was so cool. People are still coming up to my wife and I saying they danced all night at our wedding. Thank you Jersey Joint for a killer performance! We had an amazing time.

Review: Our first Jersey Joint show was our best friend’s wedding. The bride and groom talked a big game and set high expectations for the music and those expectations were exceeded. Shorty after the wedding, my fiancé and I contacted Gerry for general information and we were greeted with nothing but the utmost professionalism. We had the liberty to select more than enough songs we wanted to hear from the huge catalog and were even able to sprinkle in songs that the band would learn. That was important to us since our musical taste is not your typical wedding best hits. Dealing with Gerry all the way up to the weekend before was incredibly easy which had gave us the trust we needed and allowed us to focus on other aspects of the night.
From the beautiful acoustic tunes during our ceremony, to the jazz trio during cocktail hour to 3 full sets of booty shaking energy we could not have asked for anything more. No matter how good or bad your wedding is, your friend and family will tell you it was great. Taking that grain of salt into account, my fiancé and I realized the pattern of feedback focused on the Jersey Joint. Friends and family that we had never seen dance were tearing up the dance floor. We are forever grateful that the Jersey Joint was such a huge part of the best day of our lives.

Review: The Jersey Joint was the perfect fit for our wedding! They kept the energy up, kept the night flowing, and got just about everyone up and dancing at least once throughout the evening. We got so many compliments on their sound and song selection! Gerry was so easy to work with through the whole process and offered some really fabulous advice in our planning. We gave them minimal direction on the song list and they finished it out for us perfectly! The horns were an absolute must for the full energetic sound and both singers were so versatile and talented. We had a small guest list and a big room and boy did their sound fill it for us! We needed energy, and they really brought it!

Review:
This is Brittany and Matt and we were married at an amazing venue called Blenheim Hill Farm on June 16th, 2018. Considering that weddings are one of the most important milestones in life, I hope that everybody feels that their wedding was absolutely perfect, we certainly do. The venue, food, weather etc were excellent however it’s not a party without music. That said, Jersey Joint was the best variable for us. The music was as important as any other part of the wedding. We are both music fanatics, both as listeners and players, and there is no way we could adequately describe how professional they were throughout the process.
Anybody that has planned a wedding knows how difficult it can be to manage all of the moving parts. As excellent as they were as performers was matched by Gerry’s reliable and professional approach during the planning. We cannot stress enough how amenable they were during the planning process.
Finally, the music was just absolutely phenomenal. We have never seen a more diverse wedding band. They play everything from the Grateful Dead to Usher, and they do it all VERY well!
We hired their 10 piece band and there is not a single element that we would have changed. It wa truly excellent. Only thing we could say is that this should be the easiest decision you make when planning the wedding. Just keep your fingers crossed that they aren’t booked!!

Review: The Jersey Joint played on our wedding on a sweltering day in June, they were not only professional but kind and gracious when we had to make changes to the agenda at last minute. The band kept the energy up and our guests were entertained all night. We are so thankful to have had the Jersey Joint as part of our day, we highly recommend you hire them for yours!"

Review: We celebrated our third wedding anniversary this year, and our friends and family are still talking about how great the Jersey Joint was at our wedding! Gerry was great to work with, he was accommodating and generous with his time to make sure we were on the same page and ensure the band could deliver what we were looking for - and they definitely did! He was also a big help in working out the logistical details with the venue. When the big day arrived, the band was on point all the way through, from our ceremony music to the cocktail hour to the first dance to the wee hours of the reception. The songs the band learned by our request sounded fantastic, and the band's repertoire kept the dance floor filled all night, despite the unexpected heat of the outdoor reception. (Make sure you request Reelin' In the Years.) All in all, booking the Jersey Joint was the least stressful and most rewarding part of the whole wedding planning process, would recommend them to everyone!
